See if there is a single parents club you can go to. Just watch out for Hugh Grant...

as a single male of 21, I can perhaps shed some light on the reasons why I at least, tend to avoid women with children.

for starters, I'm young. too young for kids. Thats an emotional burden I'm not ready for, nor do I suddenly want to become, or even wish the chance of becoming a father figure at this point.

secondly, there's the education factor, as most people my age who have kids are not very well educated (there are exceptions, but let guys know!) and that is certainly a factor for some people seeking a long term relationship.

I hope this helps, and happy hunting

-Peter

If you can't find a decent guy, then you're looking too hard. The decent guy you can't seem to find is usally right in front you, the one you labelled as being "Not your Type". Try dating someone you would normally not consider... that's your decent guy.

I'm gonna have to disagree with "anotherpeter". I'm 18 years old and lived on my own since 16, I work full time, I'm in the process of owning my house, I have a friend with 2 kids that I live with that I take care of full time and I have my grade 12, I'm getting my schooling as an electrician and a plumber. and I work as a heavy machine operator full time. its the problem with men now-a-days that don't know what responsibility is all about. So don't be trying to cover up for all the armpit's out there,

Aside from most expecting the worst of a society gone wrong. Where the so called alpha male only set himself apart, by video games, and lies. What can the decent do when all the lazy yet unforgiving women assume the worst of those whom are decent?
